According to evidence from Syspeace-secured Windows Servers, there was an escalation of 17 percent in brute-force attacks per server. In the whole world, there was a slight escalation of 14 percent.
The sum total of attacks on Syspeace-secured Windows Servers grew slightly throughout the two weeks prior in Egypt as 2,800 automated hacking attempts per Windows servers were logged by Syspeace. In other words, the brute-force attacks increased slightly by 17 percent. That means 5,500 total the amount of automated hacking attempts in the Egypt in the last fortnight were blocked by Syspeace. In the course of a single 14-day period in the country’s measured history, this is the 7th highest number of automated hacking attempts per Syspeace-secured server.
There has been, for comparison, a rise of the amount of brute-force attacks in Switzerland and Brazil. With 430 blocked brute-force attacks per Syspeace-secured Windows Server the previous 14-day period, Switzerland has recorded an escalation of 24 percent compared to the previous 14 days. In Brazil, the amount has grown by 15 percent to 320 automated hacking attempts per Syspeace-secured Windows Server.
Egypt is not alone. The attacks on Windows servers secured by Syspeace have shown a slight escalation all around the world. Throughout the last weeks there have been 14 percent more automated hacking attempts than in the course of the previous 14 days in the world. Up until now, this year there have been 1,600 automated hacking attempts per Syspeace-secured server in the world. Compared to the same period last year, the sum total of brute-force attacks has increased by 6.6 percent. That is to say, Syspeace blocked 1,400,000 automated hacking attempts in the world.
The statistics is released from Syspeace, a company that helps fight automated hacking attempts. Syspeace saves enterprises time, effort, and money by blocking attacks that otherwise take many hours of repetitive, manual labor to track down and prevent. Syspeace monitors all the global Windows servers secured by Syspeace conscientiously. The company is a global innovator on the topic since 2012, having collected and analyzed evidence on brute-force attacks.
During the brute-force attack, an attacker submits many different passwords and passphrases in the system, hoping to in the end get them right. The attacker systematically checks all possible passwords and passphrases to find the right one.
To keep systems secure and block automated hacking attempts, Syspeace provides software that shields firms from IT theft, combined with excellent customer support.
